Because
of his extraordinary commitment to education, Rory Schick, Manassas
Chrysler, was one of a number of dealers from the US and other countries
honored by Northwood University with their Dealer Education Award (DEA) at
the NADA Convention.
Schick is a founder of the Bobby Mitchell Hall
of Fame Classic, a unique and highly visible annual Washington fundraiser
benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Schick has also been instrumental in developing
WANADA’s Apprentice Training Program that operates on the premise of “home
grown mechanics” through dealership’s employment and systematic training
which tracks ASE certification. He employs these young trainees in his
operation and develops technicians of a higher caliber by sending them to
the Nashville Auto Diesel College where an Associate of Arts degree is part
of the program.
In addition, Schick and his wife furnish new
cars to their children’s schools for fundraising purposes.
WANADA salutes Rory Schick for the
well-deserved recognition. |
