Washington Auto Show Now Offers E-Tickets for Less

WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 10, 2003)– Washington’s favorite holiday ticket, admission to the 2004 Washington Auto Show, is now easier and faster then ever to buy. The Washington Area New Automobile Dealers Association (WANADA), hosts of the auto show, now offers e-tickets online at www.washingtonautoshow.com at a discounted price.

“We’re delighted to offer this new service to auto show guests,” says George Doetsch, Washington Auto Show chairman, and president, Apple Ford, Inc., “particularly since it saves them $1 on each adult ticket.” E-tickets sell for $9.

Doetsch expects more than a half million visitors to the Washington Auto Show, a holiday tradition for more than six decades. Entitled “History with a Future,” this year’s show will exhibit more than 700 makes and models at the new Washington Convention Center from Dec. 26, 2003 through Jan. 4, 2004.

Regular ticket prices are $10 for adults; $8 for senior citizens and military; and $5 for children ages 6-12 (under age 6 – free), but WANADA offers a range of other ways to save, including:

  • Discount coupons for $2 off adult admission on weekdays are available at Wendy’s locations throughout the metro area.

  • Military personnel will receive a $2 per ticket discount when presenting a military ID.

  • Those presenting a non-winning D.C. Lottery ticket will receive an additional $1 off adult admission.

The 2004 Washington Auto Show: “History with a Future” will bring acres of new cars, trucks, mini-vans and sport utility vehicles from over 37 domestic and import automakers to the new Washington Convention Center from Dec. 26, 2003 through Jan. 4, 2004. For auto show operating hours, ticket information and discounted “e-tickets,” visit the Washington Auto Show online at www.washingtonautoshow.com or contact WANADA at 1-866-WASH-AUTO. Take METRO to Mt. Vernon Sq./7th Street Convention Center Station.

Now entering its 87th year of existence, WANADA represents dealerships throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia area.
